Olive Picking and Harvesting

Have a great day out in the beautiful countryside of Lesvos. Live the experience of picking olives and build your teams strength at a country feast. Go through the full traditional procedure of producing olive oil at the premises of a traditional Olive Mill. Be rewarded with your own freshly produced oil to enjoy when you go home!

The chefs of Elia & Thalassa will take through the culinary journey of the authentic recipes of the Island. You will cook with your colleagues and enjoy the delicacies with ouzo and great meze you have just created yourself!

We accommodate to you in an old traditional Olive Mill, which is renevated- transformed into a traditional Hotel named Zaira nearby the capital of Lesvos, Mytilene. Here you can live from first hand the experience of Olive and Lesvos Cuisine!

1 WEEK EXPERIENCE (Season: October to January)

Includes Olive Picking Tuition (traditional and modern techniques) and an Olive Oil Factory Tour.  Stay for a week and spend a couple of days helping with the olive harvest, you'll be shown how to pick, collect and bag the olives and also how to prune the trees. There is also a full programme of events and activities such as an olive oil factory tour and a chance to go walking with a local guide.
